Introduction

Selecting the best paint balls can be easiest while it can be very difficult, as you buy the gun which someone else suggesting or, you go through each review and decide which one is the best. You should select your paint gun carefully, because there are number of facts that can be used to select the best one out of these. Their features plays an important role here, and the second important things is, does it suits your skills? Someone who already own a gun should have much information to share with others who are new to the game.

As always, finding the best gun for yourself need some dedication, to go through each product reviews, customer feedback may be watching reviews on youtube etc. This knowledge will help you greatly the more you enjoy the game.

How does it work?

Game play is to mark the opponent firstly, using the splash of paint which stored in cartridges loaded into the gun, at high speed. Each of the above top 10 markers have in it’s different way of loading the paint balls. My detailed reviews will surely help you out the exact details which you should consider before buying.

All the paint guns have the standard quality of pushing the paintball at a certain speed and loading the chamber again. This loading process can be automatic or manual. My reviews are providing you all the technical information about this loading mechanism and which sorts of players those are suited for.

Most reviewers gamble that the best gun choice would be a pnieumatic electronic one. Even though there are other semi-automatic & mechanical paint guns available in our top 10 list, all the reviews will prove that the best guns are pneumatic.

Paintball Guns

What is your budget?

This depends entirely on your interest, because there are different levels of gaming available. At the beginning, players often start with playing woodsball for considerable few hours with rented paintguns. First timers are given rental pump guns to try out the game. For those who are interested in buying a paintgun, you can go through all our detailed, information rich reviews and decides which gun suits you best. For the amateurs best option would be getting the best gun for their selves.

For the beginners who are starting playing a several times a month, best thing would be selecting one from the top 10. In our detailed reviews, you can check the durability of the guns and the speed. After playing around few months, and getting experience in the game, you might want to try more high tech gun from the list above. You will find out which guns are best suited for serious tournament players. The pros and cons given in each gun review is really helpful for you to come to a final decision on your gun.

After reading my reviews you will be able not only to understand each gun’s features but also what kind of players that the each gun is ideal for. So you can select the best fit for you.

How much would you like to spend?

Understanding their guns is very important for the players, so we suggest you go through our reviews thoroughly, before purchasing. Because different guns are suitable for different type of players. Our reviews will prove that most expensive gun is not the best gun for you, but the gun which matches the right skill level and the right price is the best one for you.

You can always buy used guns as well as a brand new gun. It always depends on your budget. We strongly recommend you to buy a new one if you’re looking to play atleast twice a month. Even if you buy a used paintgun, you’ll have to spend money for maintenance. You might end up in a situation which you spend more money for the used gun & its maintenance which you could have bought a new gun instead with the total spent.

New paintball guns for sale are pricey, but those are the best options available for you. Buying a new one with a warranty might come handy in case you’re a beginner in the game. Some guns come with additional accessories too.

Would you enjoy a low, medium or high-end gun?

While going through our top 10 list, you can identify that there are different levels of guns available. As we have mentioned previously, they are suited for different kind of players. Have you noticed the features of the top 10 guns are having of medium to high-end features? As you can understand, low-end guns are best used for a beginner or young members of families.

Even the best tournament players always search for reviews and testimonials before buying guns for their selves. Those who are beginners in the paintball game, may not interested in reading reviews and to figure out what should they buy, because they’re more excited in playing the game sooner than to go through all these sites with reviews.

So best to start with a rented gun, figure out the game play, and gun features, and then to move on and buy a paintbal gun. As you become an advanced player, you will look for a medium/high end paint gun and tend to search what others are using, and what is best for you. I wrote these reviews after searching through both online and from tournament players’ reviews.

Should you buy an electronic or mechanical gun?

First challenge is to chose the model when you need to pickup the best. Both mechanical and electronic guns are for same reason. But the technology is different, which I’ve highlighted in my reviews. For mechanical guns, the replacement parts are available for cheap and they are easy to maintain.

An experienced player might select and electronic gun. Most of the players select electro-pneumatic as the best paintball because it operates on batteries and circuit. With that, comes the need to repair and replacement of circuit parts. But it is easy to with a kit.

What sort of paintball would you like to play?

Reading my reviews will help you with what specific gun you can have the best moments when playing with your friend or family. Different occasions suites different guns, as well as the player skills. If you’re playing mostly with the family, Woodsball might come in handy. In the mean time you’re looking for a more advanced gun for your adventures in open field with bunkers, choosing SpeedBall or RecBall will be better.

Apart from the gun, the other accessories you’ll need are easy to select. In additionally we have added few extra tools which will serve you best in this game.

I have included reviews for both beginner and advanced levels of players. I have included the skill levels, as an example, a light weight, smaller gun would suite a beginner while a heavier and more featured gun will suite an advanced player.

CO2 or HPA?

Paint cartridges in your paint balls will have to push using either CO2 or HPA when loaded into the chamber. Mechanical type of guns uses different kinds of gases than the electronic guns for their different functions. CO2 has mild stability issues when the temperature vairy. It is used with mechanical guns which is cheaper to maintain.

HPA is expensive and used on electronic guns, which are very sensitive due to electric use. And CO2 is not used on electronic markers because it has the tendency to leak as well as collect dirt. You will be disappointed if you select wrong gas for your paintball because of these facts.

HPA is not affordable or cheap, so it is best used in electronic than in mechanical guns. Its is costly to switch between gases, so best to decide at the first time.

CO2 refilling & maintaining is cheaper, and is available in cartridges.

Centre feed or side feed?

Centre feed is used to drop paint balls directly into the chamber without moving at an angle unlike side feed. Best guns always have the Centre feed which are preferred for SpeedBall.

Mechanical guns mostly have a side feed, once you’re familiar with the game, it would be easier to use the gun with a side feed. If you like to hide and wait for the best shot, side feed would work best for you. If you play in the open and you need to act fast, Centre feed suites best for you. Custom kits are available to convert side feed into a Centre feed or vice versa.

What other equipment you will need?

There are many sorts of equipment available in each different skill level such as, air tanks, food, paintballs, hoppers, extra O-rings, camouflage clothing, masks, screw drivers etc. available for purchase.

Carrying food, depends on the amount of time & strain you’re going to face carrying your high-end paintball markers. Mostly players choose camouflage for their guns for its protection. Equipment such as screwdrivers are important if your game last many hours. But carrying many equipment might slow you down. It is important to understand which you are going to need for your play.

Custom masks are available for upgrades which require extra tools to handle. Mostly bigginers get modification kits with their first paintball marker So they will be able to modify & upgrade the gun as well as use it for several years.

Summarization

For beginners,

Start with a rented gun, get used to it, and understand your skills. Then move to a middle-end mechanical gun. CO2 as the gas and selecting feed per your requirement is important.

For advanced players,

I suggest you to use a high-end, electronic gun with HPA & feed as per your need.
